2024 Range Rover Velar Models and Performance

The 2024 Range Rover Velar offers six different configurations, which are the P250 S, P250 Dynamic SE, Dynamic SE, P400 Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, and the top-of-the-line P400 Dynamic HSE. The base P250 S model offers a 247 hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that can hit 60 MPH in 7.4 seconds. 

For those interested in a more powerful drive, the P400 powertrain offers a 395-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six. This results in better acceleration and an even greater ability to tackle off-road adventures. 

In mileage terms, the turbocharged four-cylinder model achieves ratings of 22 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Meanwhile, the more powerful inline-six is not quite as efficient, at 19 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. 

Key Exterior Features of the 2024 Range Rover Velar

The Range Rover Velar has received a cosmetic facelift for the 2024 line. It features updated lighting elements, a reworked rear bumper, a redesigned front grille, and dark exterior trim for an edgy look. It comes in seven different colors, including Fuji White, Santorini Black, Varesine Blue, and Zadar Grey. 

There are also a host of other cosmetic add-ons to style out the 2024 Velar, including a black contrast roof and black exterior pack.

The interior of the new Velar is reminiscent of modern architecture, an aesthetic that’s incredible in its simplicity. Featuring intricate rectangular forms and horizontal lines, Land Rover has focused on creating a clutter-free design. The standard leather upholstery offers multiple color options, and there is a perforated textile option that uses no animal products. 

Even the center console is free of extraneous details, as virtually all key functions are controlled via the “floating” 11.4-inch curved infotainment screen.
